Lawrence Moose is a Project Manager II in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham assigned to the Greater Birmingham Mathematics Partnership. Prior to starting work on this project in November 2004, Lawrence spent 6 years as the director of the AmeriCorps Pinellas national service program at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida. He also spent 8 years working for the Greater Miami Chapter of the American Red Cross in several management capacities including program director for a vast government-funded food assistance program for the poor.
